"LifeCare Ambassadors" – Extending Love Message

Vision and Mission

With more than 30,000 life insurance agents being “LifeCare Ambassadors”, we are to create a new donation culture of Policy Donation Program (PDP) and demonstrate Hong Kong as the most caring city in the World!

Policyholders can consider donating a certain % (e.g.: 99% family member 1% charitable beneficiary) of the sum insured for charity purpose.

• (1) Extend the love for the family to the community through the prevalence and properties of insurance products.
• (2) Exert leverage effect on generating huge charitable funds with only a small donation
• (3) Contribute considerable charitable fund without affecting the donor’s living standard
• (4) Western countries have experienced substantial charitable funding from the PDP for decades. It not only generates stable funds for charity’s development, but also lessens the burden of the government in the social welfare aspect.

• (6)Pioneer PDP charitable fund over 10 million dollars
  50 executive members and past presidents of LUA have pioneered the Policy Donation Program in early 2005 and successfully raised over 10 million dollars.

How to be a "LifeCare Ambassador"

(1) Be a member of LUA
(2) Join the Policy Donation Program by accumulating at least two "Policy Donation Program" Notification Forms.
(3) Follow the industry's Code of Ethics and flow of PDP introduction, and serve the best interest of the clients.


Easy procedure, no registration need!

Simply fax the Policy Donation Program notification form to 2570-1525. Once two forms are received, you will be registered as LifeCare Ambassador for you automatically. For more details, please contact 2969-0277.


Favourables of the "LifeCare Movement"

• In 2005, the LUA and the LUAF initiated the “LifeCare Movement” and win the extensive support from the public:
  • Unlimited support from Mr. Frederick Ma, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury

• Through continuous promotion of the “LifeCare Movement”, we would like to see more and more people support the program by participating in the “Policy Donation Program”. As members of the life insurance industry, we are pleased to help reassuring the industry’s image of “Love for the Future”.

Goals of "LifeCare Ambassador"

• Uplift the caring image for individuals and the industry
• Enrich knowledge of “LifeCare Education” and “Policy Donation Program” and develop professionalism
• Strengthen communication and relationship with clients while exploring the topic of LifeCare and “Policy Donation Program”
• Promote new donation culture with the simple concept of Policy Donation for the charity
• Unify the insurance industry to extend love to the future of Hong Kong

• place the interests of his clients as the priority

• Actively participate in the PDP, and apply to be LifeCare Ambassador according to the application procedure

2) Do not mis-lead or persuade policyholders to participate in PDP in the name of LifeCare Movement, LifeCare Ambassador or Policy Donation Programme.

3) Do not induce or persuade PDP participants to fill out those charitable beneficiaries or other institutes involuntarily.

4) Do not recruit insurance agents in the name of LifeCare Movement, LifeCare Ambassador or Policy Donation Programme.

5) The qualification of LifeCare Ambassador is solely granted by LifeCare Movement to qualified insurance agents. Nobody can make use of this qualification without written permission by LifeCare Movement in reference to the law of Intellectual Property Right.

6) LifeCare Movement reserves the right to resort to law action in case of breaching of Intellectual Property Right of the Movement.

As an insurance professional, we believe you will incumbently follow the aforesaid rules to maintain the positive and professional image of the insurance industry.
